大家好，我是新手，今年第一次申请，要申请2014fall入学的管理phd。

上个月，我在我想申请的学校找到了phd program advisor老师的联系方式，其实想问问我的背景和研究方向申请有无优势，以及确切的申请截止日期。他是这样回复的：

Hi, xxx

You have a good industry background and interest in research. I would recommend reviewing the expertise of our faculty regarding your research topics.


The deadline for applications is February 1, 2014 and you must submit by that date to be considered. If there is missing information (e.g., letters of recommendation) they can be sent to me within 2 weeks for the application submission.

Good luck with the GMAT and I look forward to your application.

我想问问各位大侠，他这个回复是positive的还是就是跟我客气一下。我除了跟他联系，还需要跟别的导师联系吗？多谢大家帮忙。
